Established in January 2021 in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, we are committed to creating opportunities for people facing social and economic challenges. Our work is guided by the spirit of “Empowerment through Social Action” and focuses on dignity, equality, social security and sustainable community development.

Sundarban Welfare Trust (SWT) is a non-profit, non-political and secular charitable organization established with a strong commitment to social welfare, community development and the empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized communities. The organization is registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and has been working in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, since January 2021.

The organization works with a vision of promoting social security, quality services, dignity, a better quality of life and social recognition for individuals and communities in need.
Established in January 2021, Sundarban Welfare Trust was founded with the vision of contributing to peace, equality, development and social justice, guided by the core principle of “Empowerment through Social Action.”
Our primary focus is to support economically vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalized communities by identifying their needs, addressing social challenges and creating opportunities for a better and more dignified life.
