About Us

Sundarban Welfare Trust is a non-profit, non-political and secular organization working towards social welfare, community development and the empowerment of economically vulnerable and socially disadvantaged communities. Registered under the Trust Act of 1882, Sundarban Welfare Trust is operational in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, and has been working since January 2021 with a vision of promoting social security, dignity, quality of life and social recognition for people and communities in need. The organization was established with the spirit of “Empowerment through Social Action”—with a commitment to identify social challenges, support vulnerable communities and create opportunities for sustainable development. Our work focuses on making a meaningful contribution to individuals and families who face economic and social difficulties. Sundarban Welfare Trust is guided by a team of experienced, qualified and enthusiastic professionals who believe that lasting social change can be achieved through collective action, community participation and meaningful partnerships.
